Hollywood Studios Gives Guests A Peek At The New Toy Story Land

If you can’t wait for the addition of Toy Story Land at Hollywood Studios, then you’re not alone. Toy Story Land is going to be a very welcoming addition to Hollywood Studios.

I was very fortunate to get a look at the model the week it was released to the public. There was a cast member in front of the case talking to excited and inquisitive guests. Toy Story Land is looking to be a nice addition to Hollywood Studios, which some guests claim is “just a half-day park”. The addition is currently being built behind the popular ride, Toy Story Mania, which is also represented in this model. The much anticipated, Slinky Dog Dash, is such a large ride that guests were asking the Cast Member if we should expect to see more than one track. The answer is no. Slinky Dog Dash is large, but it is just one long track. There will be an overpass, where guests will be able to see the Train pass underneath a bridge.

Where can you find this model?

You can find the model inside One Man’s Dream (which had been renamed to Walt Disney Presents). You can find the model in the far left hand side of the exhibit, so make sure you stop and admire all of the historical items from Walt Disney’s life along the way. I love going inside and looking at everything. I never feel like I spend enough time in there.

PS: I have asked cast members about the school desk. It does come from Walt’s hometown, but they have not been able to authenticate whether or not that was actually Walt’s schoolboy desk, even with the initials carved into it. šŸ™

I can’t wait to see Toy Story Land when when we visit Disney World again in September 2018. Slinky Dog Dash will definitely be on my Fastpass+ List!

If you love on-ride videos, you will love this one for Slinky Dog Dash, check outĀ Toy Story Land to open Summer 2018. It’s going to be amazing!
