Sick At Disney World?
November 27, 2017
One thing I do not like about this time of year is all the icky sickness that goes around. Our home is not immune to this. My boys had a whole week off of school for Thanksgiving Break, but now that it’s time to go back to school, my son has come down with a nasty bug. Isn’t that always the way? Since my son is home sick, I thought there was no better time to write about what to do when someone in your family gets sick at Disney World.
What do you do when you get sick at Disney?
The last thing you want after months and months of planning and saving is for someone in your family to get sick at Disney World. Unfortunately, it happens, so there is a plan for those in need of medical attention so you can get back on your feet in no time.
Centra Care is a fast, affordable urgent care with locations close to Animal Kingdom, Disney Springs, and Universal Studios.
Plus, There’s no need to call an Uber. If you need transportation, one can be provided for you (including a car seat, if needed) Call (407) 938-0650 for pick-up

While I have been fortunate enough to never need to use their services, I have heard great things about them. The service has been quick and easy and fussy kids were given a Mickey Mouse to make them feel better. A little bit of magic goes a long way.
For less urgent matters, each park is also equipped with a First Aid Station. They will give out single dose medications, including Tylenol, couch medication, and band aids. It’s a good alternative to paying crazy prices in the gift shops for the same thing.
