Brand New to 2019

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Pass

The Party Pass is a brand new ticket option. This Party Pass enables you to go to all of the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Parties in 2019, except Halloween night. That still leaves you with 35 Parties to attend!

The price for this new ticket option is $299 per person (plus tax).

This may seem like a lot of money, especially for those of us who would need to purchase multiple passes to cover everyone in our family.

But, with many of the Party tickets costing over $100 per person this year, if you plan on going to at least 3 of the Parties, the Pass is worth buying.

If you already have an event ticket, you are able to upgrade that ticket to the Party Pass. You will need to go to the Walt Disney World Theme Park ticket windows for help.

Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular

Replacing Hallowishes is the brand new nighttime show, Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular.

Jack Skellington, from The Nightmare Before Christmas, is hosting this year. He tells a story of how anything can happen on Halloween night.

Zero, along with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy are flown off for a trick-or-treating adventure, where they find themselves in a mysterious haunted house.

Each room of the house greets them with something different. From dancing skeletons, to waltzing ghosts, and Disney villains, they will see it all during their outing.

State-of-the-art projections, lasers, lighting, and fireworks are all a part of the nighttime extravaganza.

Many fans were worried about Hallowishes retiring. But, I’m here to ease your mind. Although I have not had the opportunity to see the new show for myself yet, I’ve heard that it is amazing.

Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor

This year, the treat trail will lead you into a brand new Halloween enhancement.

If you’ve ever been to Monsters Inc Laugh Floor, you know the concept. You sit in the theater as the Monsters tell jokes, with the help of the audience.

With this enhancement, you’re able to walk through to get your candy or sit for a few minutes to see the characters from the Monster World learn all about our human holiday.

Just like with the show, the characters are limited to those on the screen. There are no costumed characters to see, high five, get pictures with, etc…

Mickey's Boo To You Halloween Parade in Magic Kingdom during Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party

New Floats and Characters in Mickey’s Boo To You Halloween Parade

If there’s one thing that I look forward to every year, it’s Mickey’s Boo to You Halloween Parade and the ride of the Headless Horseman.

We love this Parade so much, that one year, my son even dressed up as the headless horseman for Halloween. Although, can I really call him a headless horseman if he also had no horse? Maybe I should say that he was just a headless man carrying a pumpkin in his hand…

Anyway, the parade still feature our favorite Disney friends, like Mickey and Minnie Mouse. But, this year, they’ve gotten all-new Halloween costumes! And they look amazing!

But, what’s really exciting is that Disney has also added brand new floats to the Parade route.

The Spectral Bride, is the one that catches my attention the most. I can’t wait to see her gliding among the waltzing spirits with the Haunted Mansion float. At this point, I’ve only seen pictures, but she looks amazing.

There’s also a brand new Tomorrowland portion of the Parade. The Incredibles, including the designer extraordinaire, Edna Mode, is joining the Parade Route.

Buzz Lightyear and Alien have also been added as explorers discovering crystalline treasures on the surface of a planetary playset float.

Pro Tip:

Mickey’s Boo to You Halloween Parade takes place twice per night. If you want the pro-tip, wait for the later show.

Many people watch the first parade, especially young families with little ones who can’t stay awake until midnight. Take advantage of that first parade to get things done.

Meet and greets will be long all night, especially those characters that only come for the parties. But, rides will have a much shorter line. We’ve gone on rides that normally have a longer line, like Peter Pan’s Flight, with little to no wait during this time.

And my kids still talk about how we rode Big Thunder Mountain Railroad 3 times in a row with no wait, during our last Party.

Halloween Overlays Returning in 2019

Pirates of the Caribbean

Live Pirates will be returning to Pirates of the Caribbean year.

You can interact with live Pirates while waiting for your turn to ride. And watch out for those Pirates on the ride, itself. It may be hard to hear, but listen out for those Pirates talk about their search for treasure.

Space Mountain

Space mountain will be completely in the dark again this year, adding to the “scare factor”. This highly popular ride has also gotten a new soundtrack, created especially for the Halloween Party.

Mad Tea Party

Special lighting and music are also returning to the Mad Tea Party this year. If you want the full effect, wait until it is dark out to go for a spin.

Storybook Circus Disney Junior Jam

This year Fancy Nancy will be joining her Disney Junior Pals, Vampirina and Doc McStuffins, for some music, dancing, and high fives.

If you have a child that is sensitive to noise, you may want to stand back a little. There is a live dj, so it gets pretty loud. But, it’s so cute watching the little ones light up at the sight of their favorite characters.

Where can I get Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Tickets?

Tickets are going fast, but there’s still plenty available…for now.

I am currently securing tickets for my clients, so if you’d like to be one of them, just let me know what date you’re interested in attending. I’ll do the rest for you. The hard ticketed party tickets are mailed directly from Disney.

You automatically get a discount for purchasing ahead of time. But, if you’re on a budget, I recommend checking out the post Discounts on 2019 Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party Tickets for those details.
